Open Registry Editor ( Start -> Run -> regedit). 
There was no proper serial number written to the HKLM\Software\Acronis\TrueImage registry key. Proper permissions could not be applied to the registry during installation of Acronis True Image. 
When trying to run the installed version of Acronis True Image in Windows, it errors out with the following message:Īcronis True Image can not find the proper serial number.
Acronis True Image Echo Enterprise Server. Acronis True Image Echo Server for Windows. Acronis True Image 9.1 Enterprise Server. Acronis True Image 9.1 Server for Windows. Uninstall Acronis True Image, delete the TrueImage subkey from Windows registry, and install Acronis True Image again
